​Researcher Wang Zhiyong from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences visited our institute to give a lecture

On July 2nd, Dr. Wang Zhiyong, Director of the Population and Resource Environment Research Office at the Institute of Population and Labor Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, was invited to give an academic lecture to the faculty and students of the School of Public Finance and Public Administration.This lecture is an important part of the summer "primary school period" discipline frontier lecture for the Labor and Social Security major, and has attracted some teachers and students from the School of Economics and the School of Applied Economics on campus. The lecture is hosted by Associate Professor Peng Shuhong from the Department of Labor and Social Security.

Teacher Wang Zhiyong first focused on the interactive relationship between industrialization, urbanization, and regional economic growth, emphasizing that urbanization is a product of industrialization, and most regions' economic growth depends on industrialization and urbanization. The close coordination between the two is the key to the steady development of China's regional economy at present.Then, Teacher Wang analyzed the two real problems of urbanization in China, namely the outflow of population from Northeast China and urban public services.He pointed out that the key to the revitalization of the Northeast economy lies in changing the existing distorted industrial structure and excessive dependence on financial resources, and promoting the formation of an endogenous development mechanism for the Northeast economy. At the same time, urban public services can effectively enhance the level of human capital, attract floating population, and promote steady growth of urban population.Finally, Professor Wang introduced the relevant situation of graduate enrollment and training at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and shared his life experience and academic insights.

During the interactive session, students actively asked Mr. Wang questions about China's urbanization issues. Mr. Wang patiently listened to each question and provided comprehensive and detailed answers based on his profound academic expertise and rich practical experience.

Teacher Wang Zhiyong's lecture, through detailed data, vivid cases, and forward-looking thinking, broadened the understanding of the present teachers and students on the issue of population urbanization, and stimulated everyone's strong interest and in-depth thinking on this major social issue.At the end of the sharing session, the teachers and students present expressed sincere gratitude to Teacher Wang for his wonderful speech and looked forward to continuing to communicate with him in the future to explore the issue of urbanization with Chinese characteristics.

中国社会科学院王智勇研究员莅临我院讲学

7月2日，中国社会科学院人口与劳动经济研究所人口与资源环境研究室主任王智勇研究员应邀为财税与公共管理学院师生做学术讲座。本次讲座是劳动与社会保障专业暑假“小学期”学科前沿讲座的重要组成部分，同时吸引了校内经济学院和应用经济学院的部分师生参与，讲座由劳动与社会保障系彭树宏副教授主持。

王智勇老师首先围绕工业化、城镇化与区域经济增长之间的互动关系，强调城市化是工业化的产物，且大多数地区的经济增长依赖于工业化和城市化, 两者的紧密配合是现阶段中国地区经济稳步发展的关键。然后，王老师剖析了东北人口外流和城市公共服务两个中国城镇化的现实问题。他指出，东北经济振兴的关键在于改变现有扭曲的产业结构和对财政资源的过度依赖、促进东北经济内生发展机制的形成。同时，城市公共服务得既能够有效提升人力资本水平，也能够吸引流动人口、促进城市人口稳健增长。最后，王老师介绍了中国社会科学院大学研究生招生和培养的相关情况，并分享了自己的人生经历和学术感悟。

交流互动环节中，同学们就中国城镇化问题积极向王老师提问，王老师则耐心倾听每一个问题，并凭借其深厚的学术造诣和丰富的实践经验，给出了全面且细致的解答。

王智勇老师的讲座，通过详实的数据、生动的案例以及前瞻性的思考，拓宽了在场师生对人口城镇化问题的认知，激发了大家对于这一重大社会课题的浓厚兴趣与深入思考。分享会的最后，在场师生对王老师的精彩演讲表达了诚挚感谢，并期待在未来的日子里，能够继续与王老师保持交流，继续探索中国特色的城镇化问题。
